Interior design trends are one of my favourite things to predict and talk about!
I love to see what people gravitate towards during the year and what design trends slowly decrease in popularity.
Which is why in this blog post, I am sharing what I think the top interior design trends for 2025 will be!
1. Seamless Technology
Yes, technology is going to further integrate itself into our lives to enhance convenience. You’ll either love this interior design trend or hate it!
Picture voice activated systems that control lights and temperatures with just one command and appliances that are streamlined to help your daily routine of cooking and cleaning.
We can also expect a lot more wireless appliances (after the popularity of wireless charging points and hoovers) and less cords - which I am glad about!

2. Furniture That Multi-tasks
After the rise of sustainability in the interior design space, we’re also seeing a rise of multitasking furniture.
Think folding desks and sofas that fold out into beds.
This is bringing so much more versatility into our space and making sure that we’re getting the most out of our money. This is a trend I absolutely adore!
These fold out desks are a great way of creating a workspace in another space, like a kitchen or living room.

3. Splashes of Primary Colours
2025 is going to be the year of bringing primary colours back into our homes.
We’ve seen the motion slowly take place over the last couple of months as we move away from grey and beiges and transition into slightly more colourful rooms.
However, in 2025, expect to see primary colours cropping up everywhere!

4. Rounded Furniture
Rounded furniture is also making a comeback in a modern way: imagine furniture with soft rounded structures that you can simply relax into after a long, tough day - pure bliss!
The curved furniture takes a far more feminine approach to Interiors and creates a sense of peace and calm.
Check Out Swoon for some amazing rounded furniture - the Cole and Figura are totally gorgeous!
5. Healing Rooms
Dedicated wellness spaces are cropping up inside of homes, not just at the gym or within spas.
So many more homes are making space not for a home office but actually for yoga or mindful practices!
As our lives only get more stressful, I think we are all seeking a sanctuary!

6. Workstation Sinks
Workstation sinks are also set to make a huge appearance in 2025.
This is where sinks have additional appliances built into the sink to make your washing up experience the best it can be.
These work spaces usually offer areas to put cups, a draining rack and even a chopping board which really maximises the space in your home.
These things come in a range of different furnishings and are definitely a trend I will be hopping on in 2025.

7. Sustainability
Whether it's choosing from furniture that is made of sustainable materials or ensuring that we are picking high-quality furniture that lasts, sustainability is going to be so popular in 2025.
We all want more out of our money and we want to make things last! So, we are all far more willing to invest in high-quality pieces that will be with us for a long time.
Swoon is my favourite for high-quality, beautiful furniture. The Banner Deco Cabinet is no exception!
8. Bold Patterns
Just as I said we are embracing primary colours, bold patterns will be entering into our homes in 2025.
This could be in the shape of bold rugs, wallpapers, or even cushions and artwork. William Morris patterns are having a massive resurgence right now!
Again, this is just all about making our homes feel much much more like our own, than just a copy and paste of everybody else’s online.

9. Led Lighting
LED lighting has been coming in and out of trend within the interior design space, but in 2025 it is set to come back in a slightly different way.
LED lighting will show up in warmer, more neutral tones.
These are great options to reduce our energy consumption and they create a cosy feel in the home.
