Is that time of year again where we discuss the top bathroom interior design trends for 2025!

Sharing my 2025 interior design trend predictions is one of my favourite things to do each year! It’s so much fun to see what exactly will be coming into our homes and whether or not it’s something I will personally be buying into.

So if you’re as curious as me or if you’re planning a huge bathroom renovation next year, here are the top bathroom interior design trends set to hit the scene in 2025.

1. Spa-Like Bathrooms

One of the first interior design trends for 2025 will be spa-like bathrooms.

We’re seeing a huge rise in natural words, simple colours and sustainable touches.

In 2024 we saw this trend start within the home with people carving out specific spaces within the houses for wellness activities.

However, now we’re taking this trend to new heights. Expect to see an increase in aromatherapy, ambient lighting and natural surface. Honestly, this is the trend I absolutely love because why not make our homes a little more luxurious?

2. Smart Bathrooms & Technology

AI and technology have grown so much in 2024 and we only are set to see this increase even more.

However, I didn’t really think that it would branch into bathrooms but, I was wrong!

Bathroom manufacturers are quickly taking advantage of this market.

Expect to find Bluetooth mirrors, Bluetooth mirror cabinets, sensor-operated taps and motion-controlled lighting.

You’ll either love or hate the convenience that this trend brings and honestly, I’m undecided on this one.

3. Nostalgic Bathrooms

Just like always, once we head too far into the modern side of interior design, we see a rise in nostalgic designs.

In 2025, we expect to see more traditionally designed spaces alongside modern bathrooms.

For me, I absolutely love traditional design. I think taking inspiration from historical periods and implementing them within your home is such a fun way to have your home stand out from others.

4. Feature Walls

We often see feature walls all around the home and this is a trend that it’s always coming in and out of style.

However, we’ve never really seen it fully take hold of our bathroom designs.

In 2025 we’re going all out with bold accented and feature walls with striking colours and patterns.

Expect to see a lot of colourful marble added to the neutral bathrooms that we all had designed in 2024.

5. Freestanding Showers & Baths

Freestanding showers and baths are one of my guilty pleasures when it comes to designing bathrooms. I just think they look great in almost every bathroom.

Freestanding showers and bathrooms are SO elegant and can completely transform a space.

6. Floating Furniture

Oftentimes the furniture that we have in our bathrooms is stable, secure and easily movable but what if I could say that cleaning your bathroom could get even easier?

Let me introduce you to floating storage systems.

Furniture that doesn’t have any legs and instead is simply mounted to the wall is such a great idea for small bathrooms. It also adds a level of style easily and affordably!

7. Brass Fixtures

Brass fixtures such as cabinet doors and taps are making a huge resurgence in 2025.

I have a selection of brass cabinet knobs for you to choose from so make sure to check those out so you can buy into this trend!

Combined next to the whiter colours that we usually go with in bathrooms this creates more depth in your bathroom whilst remaining on a budget!

Key Takeaways on Bathroom Interior Design Trends For 2025

Those are all the top bathroom interior design trends for 2025!

For the most part, I’m very excited for these trends to hit our bathrooms next year. From freestanding baths to spa-like spaces, our bathrooms are in for a serious makeover.

However, I’m still very undecided on some of these trends, especially incorporating technology into this kind of space. Personally, I think I’ll be avoiding that trend (for now at least.)
