Shipping policy

Delivery:

We are glad to offer free shipping to most countries, where possible. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer it to every country.

Your order will be dispatched with tracking information within 7 working days of purchase.

Stock can fluctuate and, occasionally, can show an incorrect quantity on the website. If this unlikely situation does arise, The Boutique Handle Co reserves the right to cancel your order and issue you with a full refund.

Lead Time:

Our products are made to order and are shipped from the metal production workshop in Asia. This is to allow for faster international shipping and allows us to offer free shipping to our customers. You should receive your dispatch details in 5-7 working days.

Please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery from dispatch, however, it is usually much faster than this, with an average of 2 weeks.

Approximate lead times:

USA: 2-4 weeks
UK:  2-4 weeks
Australia & New Zealand: 3-4 weeks
Rest of World: 3-4 weeks

On occasion, the delivery time can extend past 4 weeks, although this is unusual. This is usually due to courier error or unexpected queues at customs, which are out of our control.

Please understand that once an order is within the postal system we cannot do anything to speed up the delivery. If you have not received your parcel within 6 weeks of the dispatch date, we will send out a replacement parcel. 

Customs Duties & Tax (UK and EU):

For customers in the UK & EU, please note that our products are sent directly from our metal workshop in Asia. This means that your order will not be sent from England and is being sent from outside of the UK. 

Where the price excluding VAT is over £135, you may be liable to import duties on delivery of the item. 

However, we do everything we can to make sure our UK and EU customers do not pay any customs fees, except in exceptional circumstances. 

As the customer, you are responsible for paying any duties that apply in your region. These will be charged either at the border or when they are delivered to you via your courier. Please note that it is the responsibility of the customer to pay any relevant VAT & duties before your order will be released to you.

Customs Duties & Tax (Rest Of The World):

Every country has different import thresholds and policies so please check your country's customs threshold before ordering as you might be liable to import taxes on arrival. 

The Boutique Handle Co is not responsible for paying any customs fees. By purchasing our products, you consent that one or more packages may be shipped to you and may get custom fees when they arrive in your country.  

US-based customers will now need to pay a small customs fee on arrival due to the new customs policy implemented by The United States of America in 2025.

Orders Marked As Delivered/Returned:

If your order has been marked as delivered by the courier, or returned, then The Boutique Handle Co is under no obligation to send out a replacement order. 

If you have not received your order but it is showing as delivered then please get in touch as soon as possible because it is likely to have been delivered to a neighbour or safe place instead. We will do our best to find out where it is but, for any complex cases, you will need to take this up with the courier if it is marked as delivered. 

If a package has been shipped but not delivered due to the customer's negligence, payment processing fees and shipping fees will be non-refundable. 

A 15% restocking fee will be applicable if the item is returned because of any of the following reasons:

1. Wrong address put in by the customer when ordered.

2. Customer was not available to receive the package so it was taken to a local post office and never collected by the customer, then returned. 

3. Customer refused to pay any customs/duties (if applicable) on time resulting in the package being returned. 

The Boutique Handle Co cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen or incorrectly delivered packages. If your parcel is lost, stolen or not delivered, it is the customer's responsibility to contact their local post office and/or local authorities to track down the missing parcel. 

The Boutique Handle Co is not liable for refunds or replacements if an item is lost or stolen after delivery is completed.

Email Order Confirmations:

Please note, that if you do not leave your email address when you checkout, you will not receive your order confirmation via email. 

We recommend leaving your email address when you place an order so that you will receive order updates via email.

Order Cancellations & Changes:

Once your order has been shipped, it cannot be recalled. If your order has already been processed and booked in for shipment then you will need to wait until you receive your order and initiate a return.

If you need to make changes to your order, please do this within 6 hours of placing it to ensure the changes can be accommodated.
