Sliding Wardrobe Doors
If you’re decorating a bedroom or an office space, having a wardrobe storage area that has a sliding door instead of doors that swing open helps the room to feel far less claustrophobic.
They are also an easy way to make your room feel tidy and cohesive without having a big, bulky furniture.

Floating Shelves
Floating shelves are one of my favourite additions to any small room as they take up little to no space and they add a lot of functionality.
They also remove the need for big storage units and instead offer you a practical solution, without making the room feel smaller.

Declutter Your Room
One of the easiest and most affordable hacks to making the most out of your space is being really harsh about what you decide to keep and throw away.
Taking some time to throw out old clothes or things that you no longer use, frees up so much room and honestly, you’ll feel like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders.

Beds With Storage
Beds with storage underneath are a huge space saver in any small room.
You’re going to need to have a bed anyway, so purchasing a bed with storage underneath is a no-brainer.
Just be mindful of what you store under your bed. Keep everyday essentials elsewhere, as storage beds can take a little extra effort to rummage through when you're searching for your favourites.

Door Hangers & Hooks
For additional storage, try adding hooks and door hangers to the back of your bedroom or wardrobe doors.
These are great opportunities to hang coats or dressing gowns, which reduces the amount of floor space being taken up by bedroom storage.

Corner Shelves
Whilst shelving units are known for taking up quite a lot of space, you can get smaller shelves that fit into the corners of your room, which often go unused anyway.
They also make for a perfect way to add a bit of your personality into the room with your favourite ornaments or photos!
