Whilst that aesthetic still has its place, 2026 is shaping up to be a year of bold personality and fresh character, and I’m so happy to see it!

We’re starting to see kitchens filled with more colour, texture and personality, all whilst not losing the functionality and clever storage solutions we’ve all come to rely on.

This means we’re going to see a huge shift in kitchens that add joy to our homes without the mess or disorganisation. AMAZING!

Here’s a look at the top kitchen interior design trends for 2026.

Colour is Making a Comeback

Beige and greys aren’t completely gone, but they’re getting company!

This year, expect to see a much richer, nature-inspired palette: mushroom taupes, earthy olives, and eucalyptus greens are currently the most popular choices.

Warm buttery yellows, dusky pinks, and soft teals are also cropping up as accent shades.
